Alpine x110 issue

Just had a shop install my Alpine x110-SLV and now the screen in my dash no longer displays any diagnostics like the tpms, gas, oil, speed, etc. I know it displays some of it on the alpine screen itself but from what I’ve seen on other ppls installs, is they still have info on their cluster screen. The cluster screen only shows the “info” icon and drop down menu. But that’s as far as it goes. The only plug I’m missing at the moment is the camera input rca which is why I have no backup camera right now. But I can’t see why that would cause me to lose my cluster screen info.

Other then loss of said features is this unit really worth the $,$$$?

No it’s not. But I got it for $850.
 

It worked fine in the previous owners truck but for some reason I’m losing the cluster screen info. Even called Alpine and the tech said you may or may not lose that screen, it didn’t sound like he had firm knowledge on it. Maybe I need to try a different audio shop for installation.

Thanks for the honest opinon. Maybe a different shop will get different results.

Was the truck the unit was removed from the same Year & Model as yours ?

When installing the Alpine unit , the interface Module has to be Flashed with your Truck info .

Look at video link at 7:05 . A friend of mine bought a used unit & had the same problem

Until he had the unit flashed again with the right truck info .
