Are they real popular and highly recommended?

I've Never heard of them.

Its really popular for the Corvette and F-Body guys.  So i decided it might be worth a shot trying it here. I hope its good!

I am interested in the results. I am currently using Formula 113 that I got from the accessory shop. It works reall well for ?.00 a bottle but I am always looking to improve.

Mervz - I ordered the Zaino stuff also, about ? worth.  Got it last week and did the routine as instructed on Sal Zainos web site.  Did both my new Sierra and my wifes Camry.  Results?  WOW!!! Camry is unbelievable! Better than new.  Its that gold/champagne color and it shines like you wouldnt believe.  My white truck looks better than when I took delivery.  Cant really describe it but I guess the gloss looks wet and deeper.  It really made a difference putting on additional coats of the polish with spray inbetween.  Each coat added more shine/gloss and was much easier to put on and take off than the one before.  Third coat couldnt have taken more than 5 minutes to put on and not much more to take off.    I can truly say that the stuff lives up to its hype!  It worked on the chrome real well also.  When you put on the Polish Lok (first step, the stuff you leave on under the polish) its hard to see.  Almost like wiping water on the car but as it goes on you feel the finish get smoother.  I Put three coats on each vehicle and used the spray "gloss enhancer" inbetween coats.  Oh yeah, I used the Zaino car wash today and it brought back the same look I had when I first polished.  Hope you have the same results.  I really havent heard any bad comments on the stuff, everyone seems to say pretty much the same thing..... Good luck and let us know...

**** boys, that is some expensive wax!  Don't think I will order any for myself, because my truck spends way more time dirty then clean.

How long will the Zaino last?

You usually put about 3-5 coats on initally, but then i think its only like one coat evey 4-6 months or so.

I'm looking forward to getting it.

General, its for my truck and the Camaro. My father got this special "Simonize treatment" for the vette when he bought it. He also got this "revitalizer" with it. Since he paid for it, he's going to use the other stuff up first before switching over.

And for you who are going "?!!!!" i did get more than just wax.

I got a , claybar, swirl remover wax, high polish wax, inbetween touch up spray, applicator spray, car wash.

So its more than just one bottle of stuff.

I'm planning on becomming a Zaino Vendor  in a few months also.

Is that the swirling brush you stick on the end of your hose?

Its by the same people, but was an extra clear coat treatment.

Boy, you just got one heck of a deal then.  ;)  Guess I might consider spending that much on car care products if my truck was worth more, and I didn't spend all my cash on maintanence stuff.

I've used Zaino for three years. The corvette guys raved about it so I invested. It's a show car polish not a wax at all. In my view it's the best car care product on the market. It's actually so smooth that dust won't stay on it. My corvette is like glass. The optical resolution is unbelievable. It's easy to use and only takes a small amout to show. Go to www.zainobros.com

It really is a great product.

What year/model corvette do you own?

I used to use Zaino on my '99 GMC X-cab...it takes a little more effort the first time, but it looks great, and makes the vehicle easier to wash and keep clean.  A well-zainoed vehicle can be washed in about half the time, cuz it's never as dirty and everything comes off with a quick swipe of the soapy sponge.

Did the '74 Corvette this weekend...WOW...talk about shiny.  Only had time to put one coat on, I need to finish the job this week.

As far as protection, it's not as thick as a wax so I don't know about ding protection, but the UV protection is MUCH better than a traditional wax.  Down here in Houston UV is our biggest enemy.

But I don't use it on my Suburban or my wife's car, the paint is too old on both vehicles.  Just plain cheap carnauba on those.
