Well, ya, kinda. Anyway, keep running it if you want, once you get to the hydro-lock scenario you'll be forced into doing something. . . .

Ive had a few of these year trucks an they r tough as nails as long as u keep the fluid in em theyll keep on tickin white smoke or not i dont think the engine is ready to give up it runs to good just has a hiccup sometimes gata b something simple

No, it doesn't "gata b something simple".  Running oil and water through the motor is bad for it.  And it gets worse over time.

Just keep running the engine into the ground.  If you're too cheap to fix the engine, that's fine.

Ya been running it for a year like that with no problems just keep adding fluid... so take the 300 thous miles an the the quart every 100 out of the scenario wat would make my perfectly running truck sputter an backfire for a few miles an then run perfect again?

At least you don't have to worry about changing the oil, just need to change the filter, since your consuming 38 quarts of oil for every 3k miles. (Using your figures) Sounds like a 2 cycle lawn mower.

If no external leaks on coolant, then you've got a bad head gasket or a busted head since you fall into the grouping for the Castech head issue. If you still have cats, they should be toast by now too. Bet you can pull your plugs and they're probably fouling. Probably fouling O2 sensors

This, sounds like the castech heads.  One way to help see what the health of the engine is would be to do a compression/leak down test.  If all the cylinders are close to the same reading then I would find a new set of heads or a good used ones.  Easy to swap.

Drive it dies completely then. Fuel system issues are the other thing to check.... like fouled injectors
