Getting dealer to program external keypad

Will this work on a 2016 truck?

I think it only works for 17 and up. I could be wrong though.

Damn that’s nice to know the battery has lasted almost 4yrs 
 
 
had mine installed about 2 months ago. Love having this feature. 

Its going to be sad when the battery dies. I use it almost daily. Dealer said batteries can't be replaced.
