Hello, I'm new in this forum. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT 6.2L that suddenly stooped running while driving home. I jump started it and I was able to get it started for seconds so I thought it was a dead battery. Got a new battery and same thing happened. Got code P018B- Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance B Circuit so I'm wondering where exactly this sensor is located at, and if possible part number/picture.

Thank you for reading!

I think that sensor is on the fuel pump assembly itself. There is another pressure sensor at the high pressure fuel pump driven by the camshaft but those codes are labeled as Fuel Rail pressure sensor codes.

Thank you CamGTP!

Does this mean I'll need to replace the fuel pump? Or can the sensor be replaced?

The sensor is #10 on the parts breakdown, it's only $36. I would assume you can swap out once the tank is dropped. A whole new pump is $178 though, so that would also maybe even come with a new filter if you wanted to go that route.

There's some good videos on YouTube on changing the fuel pumps on our trucks.
