Need LM7 advice

Hey all, new member post, so bare with me. With that said, can someone please send me links to some of the topics I'm sure have been exhaustively discussed on this forum for LM7s? Anything and everything from cam swaps, head porting, rebuild tips, as well as ways to beef up an older 4L60E to handle added power and prolong it's already limited life. When making suggestions please keep in mind I'm not looking to spend $10k on a truck that's old enough to vote, I'm just looking for help to make sure my beast can put another quarter-million on the clock while turning heads when I press the go-go pedal.

Thanks in advance from a poor stubborn bastard that doesn't want to part with his aging truck.

I bought a "beefed up" 4l60e that had a monster sunshell and other quality OEM things that had more physical strength and honestly just go stock and get a massive transmission cooler with a temperature sensor.  My beefed up transmission still blew up due to a bad torque converter bearing.

the stock lm7 is fine tuned for low end torque and fuel economy.   A "beefed up" "cammed" lm7 loses low end torque and makes massive high end gains.

Find your performance goals.  If you want more tow power, keep engine stock, add a transmission cooler, and try to run the highest? Gear ratio.  Mine was 3.73 but I think its possible to do 4.10?

tire size and gears will give you "power" at low end.

Lead foot power you can cam your engine but then need to consider aftermarket fuel delivery, still need a bigger engine/tranny cooler,

Honestly you will get good power just trying to resolve engine codes lol
