parking brake assembly setup

need to replace parking brake assembly on '05 Silverado .Watched you tube videos but I can't find one that seems to be plausible Has anyone done this before and can give me first hand experience?

If you are replacing the actual brake pads, I would suggest also getting the brake hardware kit for them as well (small bag of springs and clips).  Most people don't replace them, but those bits do wear out due to heat cycles and the constant tension they are under (even when no applied).

 

Main tip I can give you, besides seconding getting the alldatadiy subscription, is to take pictures of the parts before you take them off (where the springs go, direction of the adjuster wheel on the bottom.

Those videos don't apply.  Silverado moved to drum brakes in 05.

Then it's trivial to find videos on replacing the brake shoes on those trucks...  Maybe the OP has to clarify what specific parts he wants to replace (as for drum brakes, they also use them as the parking brakes).
