2020 gauge cluster upgrade

New to this site as I just got a 2019 evolution .  Luv the truck hate the gauge cluster.  So I had a 2017 and a 2014 ram with the basic cluster before and to update to the nice digital style one it was a simple swap .  No programming.  Downfall was your milage reflected the new cluster milage.  For me I found one with very close numbers so it was no biggie.  

 

Is gm like that I want to put the Denali in but heard I need to bring to dealer and stuff.

Yeah not like that at all sadly and the dealer cant do it; they go through us.

So what happens if u disconnect the dash then reconnect it. U get a tamper signal .
