What computer tuner should I get??

I want to get the best one

I do a little towing.

I just want some more performance.

I am sure there are many opinions..

Diablo sport! They provide custom tunes upon request. They are very helpful. It makes clearing codes, getting real time info, changing speedo for bigger tires and not to mention the power tuning all a snap!!!

I wouldn't bother with a Hypertech.

 

Westers sounds like a good programming service, but it's definitely not the same as getting a HPP3/Diablo/etc.

 

If you want to program the truck's computer yourself, LS1Edit is probably the best bet option.

 

 

I believe that Wester's has the best satisfaction guarantee of all of the available options.

I would have to second the Wester's Program. The Diablo Sport has too many issues with "marrying" itself to the PCM.

 

Forget the rest...go with the best...Wester's Garage!

Westers no doubt.Diablo and hypertech can not even touch the performance you would get with a westers PCM

I went with the Hypertech because I have used them before and trust them. Some others will give you better gains but beware of the ones that remove the shift detent. When an auto shifts the stock program backs down the timing temporarily during the shift. This softens the shift. The factory does this to help the tranny. I have heard many reports of people removing this and getting a much firmer shift and better 1/4 mile times. I have heard many of those same people report tranny failures. Duhhh!
