2002 chevy Silverado

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500, w/t base model, nothing powered, noticed that inside the door panel the door locks actuators are in place, can i program a door lock remote to unlock the doors ?

you probably do not have the receiver, and the bcm would need to be programed.  plus the lock unlock switchs on the doors and the actuaters

look in the glovebox for the rpo code for remote locks (I don't know what it is offhand).

 

I bought my truck used  5 years ago, and I asked the PO if it had support for a remote, they said no.  Decoded all the RPO codes, found it had the one for remote, bought some cheap ones off fleabay, and good to go (well, one worked fine, the other one the truck didn't recognize, still paid 1/2 the cost for 2 vs a single knockoff fob from a local retailer).
