Retained Acc. power for 95-00 trucks

Yesterday I built a little module to give my Tahoe retained Acc. power until the door is opened like the NBS trucks have.

I used the plan outlined here:

Using a relay block/plug will make this a lot easier.

I was able to make all my connections at the back of the fuse box so I didn't have to run lots of wire or even remove the stereo. Just take out the dash bezel and unbolt the fuse box and you have plenty of room to work. I hooked mine up so that only the driver's door turns the power off. The driver's door pin has 3 wires instead of 2 like the others. It turns the chime on when the key is in the ignition. Just unlpug the switch and ground your test light and probe until the chime comes on.

Simple 4 wire hook-up and now you have a cool little feature, without spending much green.
