Upgraded Calipers/Rotors

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT, and I am looking for a brake upgrade. I'm running 20's from a 2014 SLT with Michelin Defenders, and the wheels feel so heavy upon braking. I was looking at the drilled and slotted rotors powerstop has to offer, and while I like the look, I was aiming for better braking ability from my calipers along with. My main question is if calipers off some of the newer trucks may fit the front caliper brackets on my truck. I know in some packages on the newer trucks they offer 4 piston brembos, and I would really like to aim for something like that. If that isnt applicable, than if anyone has any recommendations for any upgraded caliper and rotor kits it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I think Wilwood has big brake kit.  They would probably be your best bet.

I have the Powerstop drilled slotted you are speaking of on my 09 avalanche with the factory calipers,2 piston per side.These are good choice and priced not too bad either.I would suggest too that to follow the break in procedure as close as possible.Also I've had mine on for over 2 years with moderate retiree city hwy driving.

I see a lot of info at SilveradoSS.com forums about brake upgrades from big brake kits to corvette retro-fits etc. May be worth your while to stop in over there. The forum is pretty inactive at this point, but has tons of great info. Good luck

What brand of brake parts do you have on there now?  My 6400 pound truck stops inside of 140 feet with OE brakes from 60 mph.
