I just installed LasFit D5S LED's in my 2016 Silverado. Not exactly a retrofit, but it improves the OEM headlights DRASTICALLY. Check out my install video and comparison shots at the end. These are pretty cool, they come with a custom dust cover with a built in fan. The LED driver on the bulb also has a fan, so the two fans combined keep the inside of the headlight temps cooler. Link tot he LasFit website for reference: https://www.lasfit.com/collections/led-whole-package-for-chevrolet-silverado/products/custom-d5s-led-headlight-bulbs-fit-chevrolet-silverado-1500-2016-2017-2018

I just ordered a kit for my 2014, they are different but i had enough with my Morimoto setup, even after new ballasts. One bulb doesnt work sometimes, then it works fine next time..

Time to get rid of all Morimoto harnes and all

Just so you, these specific bulbs in the video will not fit a 2014. The bulbs shown in the video will only work if the vehicle has factory equipped D5S HID's.

I installed mine on the 2014 and im not happy at all. Besides needing to adjust to get the best possible beam pattern, the light output is almost half of what i had with Morimoto HID setup.

I will be returning them and going back to the HID Setup. Im sure its the projectors in the 2014s that don't play well with LED bulbs. High beam was also weak. With the HIDs i can see a 1/4 mile down on a very dark road, its crazy bright.

First of all you don't have D5S in a 2014 1500. Second of all that's the easiest headlight to retrofit and install new projectors that can perform unlike any other

Yes i know, i bought the proper ones for the 2015 from LasFit assuming they would also be nice as the D5S bulbs.

Truck is at 140k miles almost so i wont be doing a retrofit :)

C'mon man that's no excuse. The whole kit is less than  $200
