Saves miles per gallon, about 1 at highway speeds. I did a before and after on my 2014 with in an hour of each other and cruise control at a steady 70 mph for 25 miles, came out to be just over 1 mpg different. I have also heard it might impact cooling by creating a low pressure area behind it to help air flow through the radiator (I know on the mid size trucks it specifically calls out possible cooling issues with it not on) but not sure if that is on these trucks. Should be fine though with it off, the engineers probably found an issue towing max weight up a steep incline at 110 degrees with a flat front trailer or something.

Car-part.com. They are listed under “air shutter”. Go for around $225 depending on location.
