Help!! Lol

Ok so here's my deal. I have a 2007 gmc Sierra classic 1500 wt with 4.3. I have no power to transmission. Reverse lights don't work, tow haul not working, trans. Temp not working, and won't shift by itself. When i bought it they hooked it up to a code reader and it said tcm and fume canister. I changed tcm and also checked every fuse twice. Nothing work.

You need to learn how auto diagnosis works. For a given code your vehicle generates, the VAST majority of them are not of the type "replace part X". The diagnosis procedure for a given code generally lists a number of things to check, and how to check them, to repair that code.

Seems like a snarky ass comment bud. All i know is he showed me the code reader and it had two things. Vaper can and tcm. Not sure how else i can describe it.

Well, it can seem snarky, but it was just the truth put bluntly.

If you really want to diagnose and work on your vehicle yourself, I highly recommend:

-getting a subscription to the full-service manual from a site like alldatadiy.com (not that expensive), it has the diagnosis procedure for every code your truck can generate

-a knock-off tech ii . This can read codes from every computer in your truck, as well as perform a wide variety of testing and repair procedures for your truck
