No Clock With Camera System

I love my camera system in my 2020 Chevy HD High Country.  However, when I pull my trailer and use the rear side view camera (which is great), I have no clock available.  May not be a big deal for some, but I like to know what time it is.  I had no idea how long I was driving, or how long before my next stop.  Sure, I could look at my watch or pick up my phone to see the time, but I really missed having  a clock available.  Anybody else think a clock would be a good thing?  Just wondering if I am alone on this.

I would love a small clock and exterior temp in the HUD.

I have a clock in the home screen between the speedo and tach.

I don't have a clock between the speedo and tach.  Only on the center stack where the camera views show up.

 

I do like the idea about it being in the HUD also.

I believe you can turn items on or off in the home screen setup.

Thanks  I found the clock on the dashboard. I usually have the information screen on, rather than the home screen on the dash.

There is also the clock on the bottom right of the main screen. It is always on. When I trailer and put turn signal on the camera turns on. But when turn signal off it goes back to main screen with clock. Not sure I understand how the camera could always be on and hide clock. While moving your other cameras only stay on for 8 seconds at a time.

When my trailer is connected, the rear side view stays on while driving.  It gives a great view of any vehicles next to the trailer while on the road.  It does change to the side view you mentioned when I put on my blinker.  But when the rear side view camera is running with a trailer attached, then no clock in the center stack.  But putting the dashboard on the home screen shows a clock on the dashboard.

I did not know that any of the camera views stayed on for more than 8 seconds while moving. I’ll have to try it while hooked up to trailer to see if that makes the difference.
