New Here, Not New To GM Trucks

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. Just traded my 2010 GMC Sierra SLE crew cab 2WD for a 2020 Sierra Denali 4x4 with 6.2L V8 in Dark Sky with walnut/dark ash inteior. I had a 2006 GMC extended cab SLE before that, and a used 1976 GMC 454 as my first truck back in 1993.

Wow, what a job they did on the 2019/20 trucks! I went out looking for a good deal on new tires for my old truck and I got new tires PLUS the rest of the truck! ?  I honestly didn't pay that much attention to the new upgrades to the platform but wow. This 4x4 drives different than the last version. Feels much more stable and dare I say, lighter on its feet. Hard to describe, but compared to a 2017 I last test drove, it was an improvement in how it felt when driving.

I'm finding out all sorts of things on this new platform. It's light years ahead of the 2010, although it was a great truck with minimal troubles (amassed 66K miles on it).

Look forward to learning more about this wonderful beast!
