Door Lock Issue

1999 Silverado 1500, LS, Extended Cab, 5.3L, auto

 

I am having issues with my doors locking.  The doors are not locking when I use the key fob (both key fobs) or the driver and passenger side lock buttons.  The doors will lock automatically when driving and I reach 15 mph as they always have.  The key fob and both lock buttons unlock the doors fine.  If it were an issue with the actuators I would think they would not be unlocking or locking automatically.  If it were an issue with the key fob, I'd think that both the lock and unlock would not be working.  

 

If anyone has had a similar issue or any advice to point me in the right direction on figuring this out, it would be greatly appreciated.

clean the lock button on key fobs. I use contact cleaner on a soft rag

Cleaned both key fobs and replaced both batteries, still same issue.  I don't think it's a key fob issue, both fobs unlock fine and the lock buttons on the door panels don't work either, but the unlock buttons work.
