You pay more up front for that Duramax. It’s pretty much a wash at trade in time.

I would not worry one iota about trade in value, gas engined hd will actually depreciate less than a diesel accorsing to all the dealer guides. Nada, Edmunds, etc

That is very true in the past few years, diesels have been going thru EPA restrictions that have killed their reliability.  In a few years they'll get the bugs worked out, but for now I'll take a gasser any day.

Plus THIS gasser is particularly good, and will likely be sought after as a used truck.
