fuel problems

I aquired 87 square body 4x4 in a trade  I drove it to the back of my property and parked it about 6 to 8 months ago  it was running but ruff  now I have time to work on it no start no fuel so I bypassed with the red pigtail  pump running but no fuel one pump is gone the other running  but not pumping  my question is with bypass shouldn't pump ? Also where do I start on checking switch for tanks should I just bypass it ??? Thanks in advance Alan

How did you determine it's not pumping fuel?no spray at injectors or opened up the feed line?

Took filter loose

A good chance that the rubber line on top of pump ruptured or a clamp let loose

On both tanks?? I the switching valve by the filter?? I think one pump may have gone out and valve is possibly stuck  !  Also how close to bed are hoses I am thinking of cutting access doors to pumps  what do you think??? Thanks
