2020 Silverado 5.3L wont shift into L

My 2020 Silverado with 23000 miles decided this weekend not to shift down into L. The shift lever will pull down into position but pops back up into Drive when I let go. In recent weeks, I noticed that it was a little harder to pull the lever into Drive but everything shifted properly and smoothly so I didn't think about it. Any ideas?

Could be possibly linkage adjustment but these are prolly electronic? Got a dealer near by?

The dealer replaced the entire shift linkage to correct the problem.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
