Appreciate the pricing info in here, thank you.  Planning to grab an MX4 soon, question, I have a 2021 AT4, is there a way to tell my bed length using my VIN?  Didn't even realize the AT4 came in two different lengths when I bought mine.  Imagine I have the short bed but want to confirm.  Can go measure after work of course too.

You do realize that this thread is two years old and all those prices quoted are from 2020, right!?

So that's actually just MSRP, if you reach out to the folks mentioned above the prices they quote are much better.  Just purchased one for $905 shipped.

I bought mine on Amazon for $870 a couple of weeks ago, it routinely drops to about $970-950 and then they usually have a $100 coupon on and off again. I love it so far! I do wish the last fold was a bit closer to the cab, it seems like quite a bit of wasted bed space. Maybe I will see if I can fit a slim transfer tank under it.

 

edit: just seen your follow up post, congrats on your purchase! Definitely worth calling around.

Good info regardless, thank you!  I installed mine in ~45 minutes fwiw, not bad.  Kind of rushed through it, word of advice to folks, it's much easier if you attach the clip holders to the last piece before you put the folding piece on the truck.  The instructions do cover this but I read them too late of course.

 

Would also note that it's really easy to take the cover completely off if you did need to use the entire bed to move something, can just fold it to the end and then unscrew the two thumbscrew knobs on the underside that hold the final piece to the rails.

I did a ton of research and ended up buying the LEER trifold. It has all of the same features as the Bak-flip, but it has a more secure way of opening the latches (from either side). The Bakflip and others can easily be opened with a stick or coat hanger by pushing or pulling the cable through the gap. I bought from eTrailer. I am super happy with it. Looks great, fits great (I like the "sit on the rails" design better because it doesnt take up as much width), it keeps 99% of the water out, and is secure.
