Advice Requested for Adding OEM Cab Lights/Clearance Lamps after-the-fact

Looking for information/recommendations on installing the OEM cab lights. For anyone who's truck did NOT come with them and decided to add them later on, how did you do it? What sort of shops would you feel comfortable installing them (ie drilling into your roof)?

 

Local GM/Chevy dealerships don't give me much confidence that they have experience doing so.

I’ve had the same dilemma in the past. For $55 I can’t understand why dealers don’t order all stock vehicles with these. My dealer has a body shop with some experience doing this; though I’m still not certain it would be worth the cost.
