Brake pedal click

Recommended Posts

So I need your help on this. I’m going to a different dealership because the first one sucks. I’ve had this issue for quite sometime. It’s annoying but does not affect my braking. However, I would like it fixed. My first dealer has no idea what’s causing it so they won’t/can’t fix. Can someone give me an idea or have had this issue before? Thanks

You’re telling me. I drove with the senior tech, manager, service writer and they still couldn’t fix it. They gave me the same bs that once they pull it around they can’t duplicate it. However, I duplicated it every single test drive with them. And trust me it was multiple times. I have soo many videos of it as well. Happens everytime I’m in the truck. Especially, going downhill and slight application to the pedal. I could do it while parked as well. I just want to know what it is. I would fix it if someone could point out the problem.

Abs while parked? I’m also barely applying pressure to the brakes when it happens.

Mine does the exact same thing if I barely touch the pedal.  Like said above, it's the electronically-controlled master cylinder and ABS module.
