No sound from radio and park assist off message

2009 Sierra 1500 Denali 

 

No sound coming from the radio. It shows its on, volume is moving no sound. No blinker sound. At the same time this happened the Service Park Assist Message came on

 

We have done:

Testing on sensors (the tick sound test)

Fuses are fine

Unhooked the battery for over 10 minutes and under 10 minutes

Pressed the check mark on dash when warning has come up

Watched 5 million youtube videos on how to fix but nothing has worked

No hitch has ever been hooked up to the truck but it does have the trailer brake module (shows NC) 

Truck has not been in an accident recently

Pulled park assist fuse out while battery was disconnected. 

 

When it happened:

In park, i had my phone plugged into the aux to listen to music from my phone. Got a phone call so I unhooked the aux cord so it the call wouldnt go through my truck speakers. Got off the phone and plugged my aux cord back in. No sound, a couple minutes later after driving the park assist off message came on.

You can press a button between the cigar lighters to turn park assist on or off.  Try that and see what happens.
