2021 at4 tonneau help? Anyone?

Just took delivery of my 2021 AT4 and guess I assumed its the same as the 2020 but can’t seem to get a straight answer from dealers if the tonneau will fit....anyone have a 2021 also?

I understand boxes are generally standard sizes and the Tonneaus are usually universally mounted with some give and take. I’m surprised they won’t give you a straight answer though?
Take specs from the product & measure the box?
Did the dealer say there was a huge update from 20-21? How would they not know that info??

I did a quick google and only noted tech updates.

I have a 2020 AT4 5.3L w multipro gate. NON-carbon pro.

I researched for some time. I REALLY like the Extang Xceed tonneau cover I got. Its an aluminum fold wrapped with vinyl so it gives a seamless top look. Its like it’s not even there. It’s great. People compliment it all the time.

Distributed weight bearing up to 500lbs on top of it if you want to secure cargo. I’ve dumped some bikes up there under a cargo net during a quick dash from a rain storm (bed full and needed to stay dry). No scratches or dents.

Open close tailgate while down.

Secured from folding without opening tailgate.

But the weather stripping does prevent the gate from automatically dropping down with a nudge.

And it says it fits the 2021

An online dealer said no one has one for the 21.....but it sounds crazy as usually items fit multiple model years. 14-18 I think were all the same? I assume 19-21 too?

I just got a 2021 trail boss and to my amazement, my cover from my 18 went on perfectly. Took it off before trading the 18 in thinking I could sell it, and then once I started looking at it, I realized it would fit perfectly on the new TB. Hopefully this helps!

The beds on the 20 are exactly the same as the 21. Unless you have a carbon pro then you’ll have to modify the rails and drill some holes to make it work.

Since the part numbers for tonneau covers are the same for 20/21 on the GMC Accessories site, I think it's safe to say they will fit just fine.

I put a BAK MX4 on my 2021 AT4, non Carbon, with multi pro gate. It’s great, huge plus is the tailgate seal as you can close the gate or the tonneau in any order.

I just added the MX4 to my TB yesterday.  Install took about 30 minutes and is a huge upgrade from my previous Bakflip.
