3.0 Resonator Delete

I am curious, although I haven’t found any of the covers available yet, if one were to delete the turbo resonator to help get more of that diesel whistle, if that would void a warranty? It does not change performance, so I wouldn’t think so.

It won't make a drastic enough of a change to make it worth it. I went to 4" pipe right after the cat and dumped it behind the axle and even that made only minimal difference.

 

The emissions system does a good job at keeping things quiet.

 

I noticed more change in sound when I took the stock air tube from throttle body to air filter box off and made my own. That also helped in the seat of the pants a tad.
