2002 Savannah 1500 5.7. It’s the family trickster and a normally only drive the van on the weekends but the last two times I’ve tried to start it, it cranks great but before it starts, ALL of the electronics completely die.  Graveyard dead, no lights, no dome, no crank. Then a short while later, the electrics will come right back and automatically lock all the doors..... All summer it’s been hard starting. A couple times it started and ran rough. I shut it off and started it again and it ran fine. I’m not even sure where to look first.

Sounds like your ignition switch is failing. Had the same problem with my Camaro.....but only when it was cold out. Turn the key on and NOTHING would respond for at least 15 seconds.....except the accessories (windows, blower, radio....etc). Then it would fire right up and be fine for the rest of the day, but sometimes it would stall with a backfire the NEXT time I started it. I believe the contacts were bouncing open when I let go of the key.  Replaced the switch and haven't had a problem since.
