409 SS exhaust with Flowmaster muffler for $250

Here is my video of the new exhaust system I put together. MVP 3" pipe kit for the 2014-2019 sierra/silverado + 3" Flowmaster flowfx muffler + 3" band clamps

It's all 3" 409SS from cat to the tip.

Sounds great, no drone (I'm v8 only) when cruising, great roar when you get on it.

Been a month and it's gotten louder and sounds nice and deep.

Nice work man. Exhaust sound is a personal preference. So if your happy with it, enjoy the new sound!

The good thing about this setup is that you can swap mufflers being that it's a clamp on.
You just have to use an offset inlet/center outlet muffler

Pretty sure MVP is in the US unless you can prove me wrong?
It's working great and improved throttle response but you don't have to go this route [emoji2369]

3" is fine for a 5.3. General rule of thumb is 1" for every 100hp.

MVP is US company, that doesn't mean they don't outsource their pipes from China, either way who gives a ******.

Just keep an eye on the pipes, 409 is a lower grade stainless, it will rust eventually.

I hope it is made here, and MVP is not just importing cheap speed parts from Asia.. i'm tired or seeing those cheapo headers killing local speed shop manufactuers. its a sin to buy stuff like this durring these times!

Lol, the 5.3 comes stock with 3inch. Don't you have a 5.3?

Nahh, for a 1/4 inch difference not worth it.
I'm just posting this here to give another option for those who just delete muffler or chop stock setup to make something worth.

This is cheaper but great quality for what it is. One could spend double the price for a Gibson or 5x more for Birla [emoji2369]

you can use the TRACK ADDICT app with HPT bluetooth obd tool to get a before and after virtual dyno run or 1/4 mile run to see what you lost or gained in terms of torque or HP
