I have a 2017 4WD Z71 1500 Sierra, and I just installed rear wheels/tires from a 2017 2WD Sierra. I know that the sensors inside the tires, from the 4WD & the 2WD, are different (I have photos of each).  The pressure monitor on my dash hasn't reset, and I'm wondering if mixing the 2 different sensors will not allow the TPM computer to ever reset.  The front TPM's still indicate correctly (original 4WD).  I have no pressure indication from the replacement rears.     Any ideas / advice?

You must program those other sensors to the truck.

Any tire shop can do it or just buy the TPMS tool for $12 off of amazon and do it yourself. Any time a new sensor is put on, after a tire rotation or when swapping from winter to summer wheels with sensors you must re-program them.

In your case you put two different rims on your trucks that have sensors not programmed to your truck.

What if you were to clone the tpms it's what I had done to my ford and never had to reprogram during tire change over

As far as I am aware that is not possible with the GM sensors. I was never able to do that in all the years I worked for a few different shops. The GM's only let you have 4 sensors programmed at a time and if that sensor was moved away (like if you swapped wheels) it always required a relearn/program when a "new" sensor was put on the vehicle.
