4 X 4 sticker question

I just bought a 2016 Silverado pick up truck and there is no 4 X 4 sticker on the drivers side.  Could this mean it was in an accident that I was not told about ?

It probably was, or the previous owner removed it, but never removed the other side.  You can find them on Amazon.
