I am wanting to install a LED light bar on my 2019 Silverado that will come on when the high beams come on.  Does anyone know a better way to get the power for the relay activation from the high beam wiring other than stripping off the insulation and splicing into the wire?  Do you know of a pig tail plug or adapter that’s available where you unplug the Connector from the back of the high beam light , plug in this adapter/pigtail and then plug the connector back into the headlight.  This adapter/pigtail would have an extra wire that you now use.

I have a set of RC grill lights and I just used a fuse tap and plugged it directly into the fuse for the high beams.  LEDs come on every time I turn on my high beams.  No stripping or tapping into factory wiring at all.  Very simple.  The only reason I did it this way is that I did NOT want to run wiring through the firewall and mount a separate switch in cab.  Too much hassle for me at the time.
