Looking at possibly getting some rear axle suspension helpers. I'm curious if anybody has experience with the Timbren helpers? If so, how do they ride? How do they handle under load? I have some experience with the Firestone air bags as well but saw the Timbrens and liked the simplicity of them.

Skip them and go for the Roadmaster Active Suspension.  Check it out and you'll see why.

I have timbrens on my '00 SLE 1500.  Very simple install, zero maintenance, no effect on unloaded ride... incredible difference when towing heavy.  Truck is planted, solid, no sway, greatly reduced rear end sag.  For their price and simplicity I don't think they can be beat.  They don't make any contact when unloaded unlike the sumo springs.

I'm debating adding a set to my '21 SLT 2500 "just in case" I ever end up hauling/ towing at max.  They should be the factory bump stops IMHO.

+1 - I have used them and agree with everything above.

Installed the Timbrens and they're trash.  Great on the smooth, level freeway.  Add in a few canal crossings, RR tracks, etc you'll feel the sharp jolt of the axle contacting the Timbren.

Im considering the Timbrens, or sumo springs as well.  Cant decide.  Was dead set on the Roadmaster Active Suspension, but most of the reviews i read on them, had it lifting the rear end of the truck up about an inch unloaded.  I really like how Chevy did a better job leveling these trucks out stock than previous ones so i dont want to go back to sticking my rear end up in high again.  What has your experience been @btj_z71  But i do want to help with the sag in my Silverado when pulling TT.

I had same issue with mine would feel like you say hard to describe I contacted them and they sent over ones with a softer spring is what she explained no questions asked and got to keep the old ones the softer ones really make a difference

I had Timbers on my last 14 sierra and while they worked well when towing I did not like the ride they gave. On smooth roads they were fine but you hit a pot hole or ruff patch of road and when they hit the axel you get a good jolt/jar that I did not like.

I have been looking into supersprings https://www.supersprings.com/shop/ssa28/ I might give theses a try this time around. I tow a lot and would like the extra stability they say they offer.
