I have 2016 ltz change original mirrors for trailer mirrors i connected and look like i need to modify the hardness to make the signal light work on glass and back

The factory intended operation of the amber forward shining light, is that it runs as a running light (on when your headlights are on, or when you switch your switch to the park lamp mod).

The arrow in the glass is turn signal blinker.

White rearward shining light is activated by cargo light button.

You need a harness swap or modification to your factory harnesses.
