lower convex mirror adjustment

Sorry if this has been asked but why does the drivers side lower convex mirror not adjust like the passenger side. Not high enough!

This bothers me too. I think it adjusts just as "high" as the passenger mirror, the problem is we sit so much closer to it. I wish I could raise it up higher as well.

I found that if I lower the drivers seat (electric controls), I can adjust the driver-side lower mirror to the viewing angle that I need.  Not sure if your trucks have that particular seat adjustment option, however.

I can lower the seat. Then my choice is comfort vs the inconvenience of the mirror position.
