12v source for camper

Hi everyone,

New guy.

I put a Lance camper on my 2020 Silverado 3500hd WT.

I need a 12v source for the house battery.

Where should I connect my 8guage wire ??

What does Chevy reccomend? I can't find anything by browsing.

I'll put a fuse in line and the camper has its own charge regulator.

Anything about variable output alternators I need to consider ?

This might do it.  On my generation, the "hotel" wire was coiled up unused under the brake booster and when one wanted to use, they attached it to the right post on the fuse block.  I'd peruse the file but it is taking a while to load.  If there's nothing in there, have a look around the website.

The PDF is great.  But I would like to run a larger cable (4 to 8 gauge) from the battery to somewhere between the cab and bed to a connector.  What connector should I use (Anderson?) and where/how should I fasten it to the bed?
