Lane Departure Warning

I am probably doing something wrong - which wouldn't be the first time. 

 

2020 Silverado LTZ Z71 - I turn on the LDW rocker switch and after 2 - 5 miles it turns itself off (I don't touch the switch).  Even the HUD indications go from GREEN to WHITE.

I  don't know if this is your issue but it does not work under 35 mph.

Thanks for the help.  No it’s not the issue.  Regardless of speed, it kicks itself off after 2 - 5 miles all on its on.

I don't suppose your sensors are covered in mud/dust/ice??

Nope…all clean as a whistle.

It only stays on/active when it picks up painted lines in the road. Could it be the sections of road you are on?

Nope … also happens on roads with perfect lines ranging from highway to rural roads.

Ever had a new windshield? 

Added tint to top of windshield?

 

Regardless, sounds like calibration of sensor ahead of mirror might be required

Nope...none of that at all. Only a Escort radar detector mounted just below the rearview mirror.
