Ambient lighting in 2017 Silverado crew LT

My new to me Silverado has dim to poor lighting in cab. Was looking for ideas on how to add some lighting. I like the subtle look of the overhead console light and the door handle bowl lights , I just wish they were a little brighter. I was thinking also about adding the chevy logo projector puddle/courtesy lights under the outside mirrors or bottom of door, and maybe also some lights in the multiplex of storage cubby holes and cup holders.

i added a ton of ambient lighting to my '14.

front footwells (i have 2 sets of lights for the front footwells - one is bright and is wired to come on when the door opens. the other is a lot dimmer and is on for driving a night, just to give a little light in the footwells).

i put some lights in the 'cubbies' on either side of the center console:

in the cubby on the back of the center console:

added lights under the front seats to light up the floor of the back seats. these come on when the doors are open:

and then probably my favourite one... i made an insert for the bottom of my cup holder!

i still have lots of plans to add other lighting elements to the truck - just need to find the time! life was much easier before kids! ha! ha!

I really like the last idea. Im watching too see how it turns out. I like that so much better than those chevy logo lighted discs that drop into the cupholders. Is that glo wire?
