oil change cost

Costco it goes on sale for $10 off the 6 quart pack like 6 times a year. After having dealers leavinv drain plug left loose leaking oil happen to notice it right before long road trip, could have blown my motor in brand new impala. A Toyota dealer not using right oil. Not changing filter. I'd rather do my oil changes myself, take me 30 or so minutes to do oil and tire rotation. Takes an hour of drive time both ways, and between 1 and 3 hours to have dealer do it, and have to listen to all the extra 100's of dollars of service they said I need. I save lots of my time and know it's done right.

I just pulled service history on one at work.  With a tire rotation it was $104 out the door so about $30 more vs a gas 8 quart and tire rotate.
