Depending on the age of your battery (original), it could be causing the problem, or your HMI module may be failing.

I have not heard of a receiver, located behind your monitor (screen) failing on here yet.

 

One thing that works for some problems, unhook your battery, let it sit around 30 minutes, hook it back up and see if the stereo works again.
