PARIS, June 21 Even before the fires were extinguished at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon ( news - web sites), conspiracy theories began flooding the Internet. A few quickly spilled out of Web sites and were widely circulated by e-mail before fading into oblivion. One, however, has taken on a life of its own in France. It was turned into a book that has become the publishing sensation of the spring.

 

 

In the book, "L'Effroyable Imposture," or "The Horrifying Fraud," Thierry Meyssan challenges the entire official version of the Sept. 11 attacks.

 

He claims the Pentagon was not hit by a plane, but by a guided missile fired on orders of far right-wingers inside the United States government. Further, he says, the planes that struck the World Trade Center were not flown by associates of Osama bin Laden ( news - web sites), but were programmed by the same government people to fly into the twin towers.

 

What really interests him, though, is what he sees as the conspiracy behind these actions. He contends that it was organized by right-wing elements inside the government who were planning a coup unless President Bush ( news - web sites) agreed to increase military spending and go to war against Afghanistan ( news - web sites) and Iraq to promote the conspirators' oil interests.

Well, Our own money did bring this apon us.  We all pump gas for our vehicles and just to live as we know it.  Thats where he(osama) got all his money to plan his terrorist actions anyways.  Sad thing is we will likely never find his body.  He's on dialysis and will be dead with in the year if he isn't already.  (which I presume he is)

There is some insane woman in Richmond who happens to be a Black-activist.

 

She has her own local TV show on "BLAB TV" (A station that will give ANYBODY some airtime), where she theorises that every single catastrophic event in the US is "a plot by the Government to Oppress the black people of our nation".

 

 

 

And she said the exact same thing as the quote I have above. Only, her words were "Those planes were Remote controlled by President Bush himself, in an effort to Suppress the African Americans of the United States". Or somthing like that.

 

 

Believe it or not, she gets calls all the time from people who tell her "Right on Sistah!" and all that.

 

Next time I see that show (Which I will NOT make an effort to do, but if I stumble on it....), I'm taking the "Call-in" number and posting it on here. So we all can tell her how we feel! (Make it even sweeter, call 'em collect! )

WE did not bring any of this upon ourselves-militant Muslim extremists did.   Osama inherited his $$ from his daddy, who is/was in the heavy construction business.  Al Quada is financed through a worldwide network of sham businesses, secret donations from wealthy USA haters, and probably some foriegn governments but very little if any of AL quada's $$ comes directly fom bin laden.

 

And the fact that we buy oil from Muslim countries did not cause the 9/11 attacks.  Bin laden did.  The man became a  rich and powerful warlord fighting the Russians in Afghanistan in the 80s-but the Russians pulled out and all of a sudden Osama needed a new enemy to stay in business.  What good is the warlord business when you have no war, right??

 

The big mistake he made was his under-estimation of the speed and ferocity of our response.  I think he belived we would be tied up in diplomatic red-tape and UN proceedings and by the time we did attack, it would be weak and several months later than it was.
