Well when the feedback is way off point what’s a guy supposed to do? Go to the dealer and say “I hate how this trucks suspension feels”…..yeah that will go over well! I knew what was wrong with it, just had to figure out how to fix it, $1100 later it’s fixed!

You asked if people had issues like yours, they comment on their thoughts.  You didn't like what others responding with that could have possibly saved you 1,100 if you went in to the dealer & it was a issue on the build.  Other threads mentioned how the OEM shocks lagged/sucked if you read those ahead of your posting your thread.  You didn't, you spent the money & you like it now.  Good, issue solved.  Go complain about something else now.  Seeing how you start this thread, I'm sure you're good at it.

Not arguing the crap ride, just saying these trucks are astronomically priced and for that $$ it should ride exceptionally well.

I agree with you 100%! They cost too damn much to buy it and then have to do what I did. I’ve put Bilsteins and Fox’s on Tundras and F150’s,  in some cases for a slight leveling and in some cases because I wasn’t happy with some part of the ride (ie the newer F150’s have very stiff rear springs for payload and the rear shocks are not well tuned by design) but the fronts aren’t that bad. The 5th gen rams have a really good suspension in stock form, especially the off-road models. This new Chevrolet Z71 with the Diesel off-road package had the worst front and rear suspension of any new truck I’ve owned. Thankfully we have options!

Hello guys, new Silverado owner here, recently bought a 2021 RST Z71 with Diesel off-road package and after 500 miles of driving it I have realized that this truck has the worst suspension I have ever felt in a truck and I’ve owned a bunch of them (though in full disclosure this is my first GM). There are multiple things that I have noticed since buying it that I didn’t notice on my 3-4 mile test drive. The truck bounces like crazy! It feels like I’m driving an old worn out Oldsmobile or something. I literally counted 3 bounces on the front end before recovery after hitting a dip at 50 mph, it’s like the shocks are worn out. The rear does the same thing, as well as jarring sideways on pavement breaks , sometimes at speed (ie like a railroad track). In addition I literally feel everything in the road through the cab and steering wheel, every little crack, broken spots, etc. Colorado has bad roads but I traded in a 2019 Ram 1500 with the Off-road package and the same exact tires that in stock form rode 10x better than this truck. I have messed with air pressure and it hasn’t helped in any way. So with all that said I am prepared to upgrade whatever is needed to make this truck ride better. Bilstein 6112’s and 5160’s is where I’m pointed right now. Can any of you that have gone through what I am going through give me a little feedback on maybe what you did. Thanks in advance.

I also own the 21’ Silverado RST 4x4 5.3 model and I placed my 600lbs Arctic cat zr8000 in box it hit bump stops super gay lol, then I installed a add a leaf for local spring shop helped the rear suspension but made the front end float like a boat, dealer said to upgrade suspension may help issue did so helped small amount still front end floating… adding timbren blocks still floats front wtf. All around garbage Chevrolet truck! Tail gate super flexing I stand on it and button bracket pops out lol. Any one cross reference older suspension from older trucks to replace current 21’ Silverado crew cab suspension?
