Got a 2018 here, just wondering if anyone else has noticed (or maybe I just got shafted) the spare is not the 265/65/18 Duratrac, its actually a 17" Wheel. Never knew if they did that because maybe a 18 doesnt fit down there with the duratracs, or if the relative tire/rim size equals the 18 on the vehicle and they saved money on a tire, or... if I just got shafted?

Everybody gets a cheap spare on a steel wheel - don't feel special.

 

For as much as it's used, I'm OK with that.

The original spare tire size for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 is P265/70R17 113H

its a spare tire all that matters is the OD of the tire. only options for the spare was an aluminum or steel wheel. my 14 has an aluminum spare.

Makes me feel a bit better! For a while there I thought It was swapped at the dealer.

I know that I have a full size spare, not sure about actual size.  I'll look tonight or in the morning, after I get home.
