Adding safety options ie lane assist types

You said you were successfully able to add the cross traffic / lane assist features, correct? What about the Super Cruise controls or whatever GM calls it? And, did you have the dealership install it or did you do it yourself?

 

I just bought a brand new 2022 Chevy High Country 2500, but because of the chip shortages it doesn’t have lane assist or the fancy cruise control. It does have the parking assist button installed, but it’s missing the chip so it’s deactivated. I do have the 360 cameras though, which I assume includes the windshield cam.

I just bought a 2014, with 27k miles, it had the Z71 package. I love to add lane departure and on-board GPS. Is possible and worth it! Apreciated any input. Also the gate remote control.

I'm going to attempt to retrofit - Lane Departure Warning (LDW) to my truck. 

 

I did the HUD retrofit and after swapping my windshield to the HUD version, that prompted me to get the rear view mirror trim pieces. Part of that discovery lead me down this path of seeing if this could be done. I'm hesistant with the dome lamp wire harness part # 84711898 that was provided as it says it's not compatible with my year truck. So it's a gamble for that I might just take. So I'll be getting camera/harness and see what happens.
