Replacement Mirrors for '97 Z71

Fellow 96-98 K1500 owners,

 

Where have you found good replacement mirrors for your truck? I tried a set from 1Aauto and they were horribly designed.  I had to RMA 3 sets due to one being defective in each set.

 

I told them I would keep the 3rd set as it wasn't as bad of a defect as the first two sets. (driver mirror wobble)

 

I am looking to replace these again as the wobble has become worse and I can't see in the driver mirror at all.   Everything is blurred due to the shaking.

 

I have considered towing mirrors in the past but I don't tow very much....what & where have you purchased mirrors from?

the only good mirrors are factory , you get them at dealer if available ,  or wrecking yard , or gm forums, sorry , but those are your choices

I'm finding that '90's OEM parts are getting hard to come by. I have K-Source mirrors but Doorman also make compatible mirrors. My K-Source mirrors work fine.

I am looking for towing style mirrors not OEM replacements.  I have OEM replacements now and they were a unknown brand from 1aauto.  They were horrible.

all aftermarket mirrors i have seen are the same as what you have , they are distorted , or they vibrate so bad you cannot see out of them, that is the reason behind  my last reply
