Lund aero skin for GMC

Anybody got Lund aero skin installed a 2020/21 Gmc 2500 yet? Just trying to get pics on what it looks like.

I have been looking for that myself. Crazy how there are so few pics of it on a '20 or '21 GMC HD online. I did find one finally. See below. It came from this site...https://www.autoventshade.com/aeroskin/2021/gmc/sierra-3500-hd

Rickmazz, I like the looks of that! Are you happy with it so far? Does it have the little round bumpers that keep it from contacting your paint? I have a '15 HD with a bug guard that has a turned up lip in the top center of it that does a great job directing the wind up and not directly at the windshield. Really helps to keep the windshield clean by keeping most bugs off it. I don't think they are able to design the turned up lip into them with the hood scoop.

Hi Cobra

No pads to lift the deflector just the thickness of the 3m tape the goes completely around the the deflector with exception of the 2 outer edges i do not think it can vibrate once installed this is totally flat both sides no raised lips to deflect wind but it will keep this area of you hood from chipping. I do like the look but to be honest I was working on my truck in the garage with the door open and hood up... door was cycled and scratch and creased the hood just above the lip dead center 3 days old I just did not want to get it repainted at this point I purchased 2 I may have one painted to match the truck but the flat black is really growing on me and I do like the look...lol

I believe their is a different version also with a lip

Rick, I cannot imagine having that happen to a brand new truck! Dang, I bet your neighbors ran outside to see who was doing all the yelling and swearing after it got hit. It sounds like you were able to put it into perspective (after all it is just a truck) and move on. Either way thanks for the info on the deflector. Your truck looks great!

I also installed an aeroskin, just like the one in your picture Cobra, that was the smoke model from autoventshade. I have a 21 GMC Sierra 3500. I really like it. It feels very solid and fits perfectly it seems. Install wasn't very hard to install by myself either. Might help having a second person but definitely doable by yourself. I am happy with it.

Hey TO if you get a chance can you throw up a few pics? I'd like to see it. You guys are really making me consider getting one when my truck comes in!

Here is a couple pictures of the autoventshade on my '21 3500. Sorry the truck is so dirty. Just got back from camping and haven't washed it yet.

Thanks! I like it! Is yours painted to match the truck? In the pic above it looks like there is a line where the top is blue and the bottom is black. Maybe it's just a shadow. Either way it fits great. Thanks for the pics!

No it isn't paint matched. Tough lighting with the sun at my back. It is the smoke model of the deflector and is black. It's got a little gloss to it and matches my black grill which I like. You would probably be able to tell if the damn truck was clean.
