To add to this.

The model codes are now different for the 2022 LTD/Limited (aka pre refresh T1) to identify them over the 2022.5 refreshed trucks.  Currently for example, a crew cab short box is designated as CK10543 (Chevy) or TK10543 (GMC).  These LTD/Limited trucks drop the "0" for an "8".  So a 2022 crew cab short box 4x4 will be designated as CK18543 (chevy) or TK18543 (GMC).

To me, it seems to be semiconductor and refresh related cuts.  HD radio and the column lock are semiconductor cuts.

The Custom Max Trailer is axed because the L82 and 6 speed are gone.  4.3 is dead which I think Zane had a piece on earlier this year.  Must not be a lot of AT4 with the 5.3 sold as the 3.0 diesel is now standard on it with the 6.2 as optional.  Double cab Custom TB might be sales related?

Yeah, I figured it was a good move as most people who buy AT4s either buy them in the 3.0 or the 6.2. It's also good to hear that they added 3.0 as an option for the Trail Boss, as that was one of the reasons I wanted an AT4 instead of an LT Trail Boss. It seems that they're still offering the 5.3 on the Trail Boss tho?

Yes.  Custom Trail Boss loses the 5.3 and 6 speed option however.  Standard will be the 2.7T and the 6.2 optional.  The LT Trail Boss is 5.3/8 speed standard, diesel and 6.2 options.

Yeah the oil burner in TB is a nice move.  And interesting that a diesel motor is standard now on AT4. How much extra is the 6.2 option then on AT4?
And if I’m reading correctly the 5.3 with AFM is now only available on WT?

I read it as the L82 AFM 5.3 is completely gone, and they've added the L84 DFM 5.3 to the W/T, but not Custom and Custom Trail Boss

The MCE aka 2022.5 should be end of 2021/January 2022 from what it sounds like.  We should see info on it in late summer so August/September.
