Well, my issues are compounding and I guess it's my fault. Was going out the back but reseated the rear of pump then started squirting buy the gear box on low side, found the seal got bent screwing it in, redid it and stripped the thread ugh, pops gave me a tap, everything's in if just barely, gona get fluid tomorrow, n see what happens.

I just put a power steering pump in my 06 Avalanche; a major PIA! There are O rings on the (could yous have got damaged during install?) It never hurts to put a little lube (pet jelly, power steering fluid) on an O ring prior to installation There are 2 pressure lines/ there are 2 return lines, one for the steering gear box and one (for the power brakes) from the hydro-boost. Make sure you have hose clamps (make sure the return lines are in good shape) on the return lines (heck, make sure they are connected!) and correctly routed. Never reuse an O ring, you should have got new ones with your new lines.
