I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 and recently I have been having issues getting it to turn over. When I put the key in everything will turn on but all I get is a “click” from the starter. (The volts read just under 14 ever time.) This has happened about five times now and each time the truck will turn over with the help of a charge pack or jump and the truck will be fine starting for a couple of weeks then it will happen again where it will just give me a “click” and needs a jump. After the third time I replaced the battery thinking that was the issue but the problem came back. People keep telling me that it might be the alternator but I have my doubts because I have driven the truck for two hour long trips with no issues before during or after. I’m starting to think that it might be the starter but I wanted to get some other input before I start tearing in to it blindly and replacing everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'd be looking at battery cables for a poor connection or corrosion. At the battery, the grounds and down at the starter.

If the starter was the issue, a jump would not start the car. Do a load test on the battery. If battery is strong on load test, measure alternator voltage.  If it's low than you have a weak alternator. If alternator have good voltage than check battery cable.
