Steering wheel clicking

Recommended Posts

The dealer just changed my steering column after having my truck for 3 weeks because part was backordered. Still making clicking sound when turning. There blaming the electric steering box. They said extended warranty might not cover with rims and a lift. I know this is a problem a lot of guys have. Any solutions?

Just curious about your problem, does the ticking happen turning the wheel both ways? Mostly at slow speeds or in park? Mine has been doing this for about a year now but doesn't seem to affect anything. I'd rather die a painful death than go to a dealership so I always do as much as I can myself.
